I didn’t set out to design a casino. I set out to design a ritual.
Growing up in LA’s Koreatown, I watched my grandmother light incense at Lunar New Year temples — not for luck, but for presence. That’s when it clicked: what if the ‘fortune’ wasn’t in the red envelope, but in the pattern of wins? So I built The Lucky Ox Feast: an online multiplayer game where every deal is a lantern-lit dance between庄 and 闲, governed by certified RNGs, not fate.
Players think they’re chasing trends. They’re not. The house edge is 5%, the tie pays 8:1 but occurs only 9.5% of the time — math doesn’t lie, but humans do. So we track wins like monks tracking incense smoke: if 莋 has won three times? Fine. But don’t bet your rent on it.
