لم أأتِ هنا بحثًا عن جوائز. أتيت بحثًا عن السكينة. عندما جلستُ عند الطاولة، ارتجفت يديّ ليس من خوف الخسارة، بل من ثقل الصمت. لم يتحدث الموزّعون. ولم تومض الأضواء. لكن شيئًا تحرك: إيقاع قطعة واحدة وُضعت كصلاة هامسة. لم أعدّ الثروة برميات أو جولات—الآن أعرف أنها تعيش في المسافة بين الأنفاس. الفوز الحقيقي ليس العائد؛ بل هو الطريقة التي تتوقف قبل وضع رهانك القادم. ليس بالجشع، بل بالنعمة.
